Who we are

We are an interdisciplinary community of researchers with the conviction that the University can be a catalyst in the transformation towards more resilient, fair and sustainable city models.

TULE was born in 2020 as a result of the collaborative work that had been done between different researchers of UPM. Tule connects researchers from various research groups:

  • Bioclimatic Architecture in a sustainable environment-ABIO
  • Transportation Planning
  • Computing Applied to Signal and Image Processing
  • Architectural Acoustics
  • Renewable Distributed Generation and Intelligent Control
  • CLIMATE-KIC
  • Hydroinformatics and Water Management
  • Electrical generation with wind energy
  • Soil Quality and Environmental Applications
  • Biomechanical Analysis Group
  • Pollution of agroecosystems due to agricultural practices
  • Engineering education for a sustainable world, based on IoT
  • Group in Applied Electronic Technology (GTEA)
  • Dynamic Systems, Learning and Control Group (SISDAC)
